I toootally did not intend on going off on the previous tangent. haha
I'm new to all this, but I'm pretty sure it deserved an entry all to itself. :)
Anywho, on a lighter note...
We grabbed lunch at my FAVORITE restaurante mexicano...El Arriero. Mmmmmmmm........muy delicioso!! But I'm beginning to think I go there more to attempt conversation with the waiters en espanol than I do for the quality of food. :) Contrary to popular belief, I'm not all THAAAAT crazy about rice and beans. :) I did try something new though....Burrito Roqueta. It's definitely a keeper. :)
As always, I drank waaaaaaay too much water. Must be a nervous habit or something. lol Or maybe I was a camel in another life and I'm just going back to my roots? Who knows? ;-P haha
So, Broken-Heart Boy and I met up with my best friend from high school who's getting married in the fall...She wanted us to see their wedding location (Museum of Appalachia). It was sooooo cute and rustic...very country-fied....fields, barns, cabins, mills, roosters, sheep......and peacocks.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly! Where the heck does a peacock fit into this picture??
32) Please place a star (*) beside the choice that does not belong:
a) field
b) barn
c) cabin
d) mill
e) rooster
f) sheep
g) peacock ****************************
Haha. Shocker.
Anyway, I can't complain. They were everywhere...and kept me amused for a long long time. haha In fact, I spent a significant amount of time chasing one in circles attempting to get a good picture. :) Eventually Prissy Patty Peacock won because I got dizzy. :)
Here comes another tangent....
Prepare yourself....
Ok. I love weddings! I hate when single people hate weddings just because they're single. C'mon!!!
I'm the polar opposite of that.
Stories of true love warm my heart....
Besides asking how someone came to know the Lord, asking about their love story is my next-favorite Q :)....
I'm even a sucker for romantic comedies. (Most....not all. 27 Dresses was a flop, in my humble but correct opinion haha)
Love is such a beautiful thing!!
Said all that to say that I prayed for my hubby today!! (FUTURE-hasn't been revealed to me yet/haven't met yet Hubby, that is!!!!!! haha) I pray all that time that our story is not only a true love story, but a GOD-story. One that points straight to the Lord, His leading and His faithfulness :)
Alright, that's the end of Sappy McSapperson's time on the soap box. :)
This one's actually getting pretty long....so maybe I should break it up a smidge :)
